The museum collection of metalwork includes
good specimen of metal production reflecting the highly
developed technique of this industry in particular the inlay technique with silver and gold in production
during the Mamluk period 1250. 1517 A.D. as well as in the metal
production of musol
The Fatimid metalworks are rare and
relatively few , as well as the Ayyubid metals 1171-1250 A.D.
The museum metalwork is inlaid and incised in
different techniques as denoted by the Saljuk , Maghul , Timurid and Safavid
metal objects from Persia.
